This highly textural braid is inspired by an antique hand woven woollen braid that Susan found in Turkey.  Susan loves the bold colours and strong geometric design and the unusual juxtaposition of colours. 
  
This stylish design will work if stitched onto curtains, upholstery, blinds, ottomans/footstools and cushions.  Susan would also use it as an amazing trim for painted,  wallpapered or fabric covered walls around the edges next to coloured woodwork and/or cornicing, to give a room strong and textural definition.
